A downloadable game for Windows and Linux

Space Haul is a fast-paced split-screen co-op game (must be played with 2 players, though you can play by yourself if you must). You fly around a top-down view of a solar system (generated per-run), and fly around trying to complete missions.

The goal is to meet your points quota every 2 minutes by completing missions, with more points awarded for complicated missions, and proportional to degree of success.

You will need to take into account the gravity of planets as you fly by in a constantly-moving solar system. Beware of patrolling AI that will hunt you down as your notoriety increases, and of increasingly abundant meteors that collide with you. You won't die, but you will need to wait to respawn after some time.

Missions include: cargo and escort. Cargo missions involve taking cargo from one planet to another, and escort involves taking friendly AI from one planet to another. Missions increase in complexity the more waves you survive.

The game has no music or sound.

This game was made using Processing 4.0  as part of the University of St Andrews CS4303 module "Video Games", as a final submission. It was made in a team of 3, including myself. My contributions were: player movement, background generation, meteor generation & collision, friendly AI logic, player animation & camera-logic, UI (except mission-UI & compass), split-screen display, and timer-logic.
